7 Weeks Old!
It’s been a busy week!!! We had our temperament tests and we all loaded up in G’ma’s car and went to see the veterinarian. He said we are all super healthy, even our sister Myrrh. He said she will likely adapt to her crooked elbow just fine. We have been trying some more foods and playing outside a lot! We have been playing with our Aunt’s too and we visit our dad through the fence. We don’t stay still for good pictures anymore, we are way too busy for that. We are really excited to meet our families soon!
6 Weeks Old!
From the puppies: We are got to eat whole chicken legs and we really like them! Some of the girls just carried theirs around for awhile, but then they figured out how to chew them. G’ma says that soon we will be crunching down the bones too. We have eaten sardines, chicken hearts, pork, beef, turkey and chicken. G’ma says we will get to eat chicken feet this week and she thinks we will like those too. OH! Have you heard about OUTSIDE???? It’s really cold there, but there is this green stuff on the ground that tastes yummy and feels good on our toes. We are getting something called a tunnel to play in, it should be here today. Next week G’ma says we have to go see the veterinarian and do something called temperament tests. She said some kids should be coming to play with us soon too. We are really excited that we get to meet our new families soon!
Fourth Week!
The puppies are four and a half weeks old already! It’s difficult to imagine they will begin their journey’s home in just four weeks! If you have followed my litters previously, you know that I assign a litter theme for names while they are here. These are just litter names and you are not required to keep them. This has been a very difficult year for many; for the whole world really and with that in mind, I named this litter after healing herbs and plants in the Bible. Above you see the list of names. The puppies will really start to show their personalities over this next week and at the end of this week they will begin to journey outside for play time. I will start to start posting more videos to YouTube at that time.
Our third week!!!
Our third week of life was pretty exciting! We are eating three meals a day, growling, howling and barking! We are starting to play with our toys and G’ma says we are getting messy! We moved into our big apartment, and have started ‘potty training’……that means that we are supposed to go potty on newspaper……we are trying, but it’s hard to get used to. While we get used to being in our apartment, we are limited to a small space. G’ma says that if she left us to explore the whole thing, we would get lost and not find our way back to our bed. We like our bed. It has a heated blanket on it to keep us warm. This coming week we will start exploring more and maybe even go outside at the end of the week!
Our second week of life!
We are almost 3 weeks old and g’ma gave us food today! She said it was turkey and goats milk. We really liked it, but we had to have sponge baths after eating. We are starting to be noisy and a few of us really like to howl when g’ma and mom are trying to sleep. We still nurse for that good mama milk and we still need to eat in the middle of the night. Soon we will get to move to our puppy apartment where we will have a lot of room to play and cause trouble.
Hello world! Our mama Ki did a great job of whelping us! It took a bit under 12 hours for all of us to born. Grandma says that is great time for a big litter. Right now all we do is drink mama milk and sleep, but soon we will be moving around and getting busy!
One Week Old!
We are already one week old! We are starting to scoot around a bit, but mostly we are just so hungry that we spend all our energy eating and then we sleep!!!! Grandma says we have to start our Early Neurological Stimulation tomorrow. We are not sure what this is, but as long as it doesn’t interfere with our eating, we will be ok!
